Installation guide
Install an eSIM on iPhone or Android.
Set up the profile before you travel, then activate the data line when you arrive in Algeria.
Before you start
- A stable Wi-Fi connection
- The QR code displayed on another screen
- A compatible, unlocked phone
Install over Wi-Fi
Downloading the profile requires a stable connection.
Activate on arrival
Select the eSIM as your data line once you reach Algeria.
Keep the QR code
Never share activation details publicly.
Apple
Install on iPhone

Open mobile settings
Open Settings, then Mobile Service or Cellular.

Add an eSIM
Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR Code when offered.

Scan the QR code
Display the QR code on another screen, scan it and follow the iPhone instructions.

Name the line
Use a clear name such as “Algeria eSIM” so it is not confused with your main SIM.

Choose the data line
On arrival, select Algeria eSIM for mobile data and enable data roaming if required.
Samsung, Pixel and Android
Install on Android

Open SIM management
On Samsung: Settings, Connections, SIM manager. On Pixel: Settings, Network & internet, SIMs.

Choose Add eSIM
Depending on the brand, it may be labelled Add eSIM, Add SIM or Download a SIM.

Scan the QR code
Display the QR code on another device and let the phone download the profile.

Enable the profile
Rename it “Algeria eSIM” and keep your usual SIM for calls if you wish.

Select mobile data
On arrival, use the eSIM for data and enable roaming if the connection does not start.
Troubleshooting
eSIM installed but no internet?
Run these checks in order before changing any other settings.
- 1.Check that the eSIM line is enabled.
- 2.Select the eSIM as the mobile-data line.
- 3.Enable data roaming on the eSIM only.
- 4.Turn flight mode on for ten seconds, then turn it off.
- 5.Restart the phone and leave network selection on automatic.
- 6.Enter an APN only when a value is supplied with your eSIM.
Never delete the eSIM to repair the connection. Some QR codes can only be used once.
Manual installation
If you cannot scan the QR code, choose manual entry. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code exactly as shown in your eSIM details.
Do not add spaces or reuse activation details from another order.
Keep your main SIM
On a Dual SIM phone, keep your usual number for calls and texts. Disable automatic mobile-data switching to prevent your main SIM from using data abroad.

Yes. Install the profile over Wi-Fi, then wait until you arrive in Algeria before selecting it as your data line.
Should data roaming be enabled?
Yes, when the eSIM details say so. Enable it only on the eSIM to avoid charges on your main SIM.
Can I scan the QR code on the same phone?
Displaying it on another screen is easiest. Some phones can also import a QR code from an image.
What if the internet does not work?
Check the data line, roaming and network mode, then restart the phone without deleting the eSIM.
Can I reuse the QR code?
Not always. Many QR codes work only once, so do not delete the profile after installation.
