Compatibility, plan contents and choosing an offer.
What is a travel eSIM for Algeria?
An eSIM is a digital SIM profile installed on a compatible phone. It lets you use a mobile-data plan in Algeria without replacing your physical SIM card.
How can I check whether my phone supports eSIM?
Open the SIM or mobile-data settings and look for “Add eSIM”. Support can vary by model, sales region and the network provider that sold the phone.
Are regular calls and text messages included?
The plans shown are for data. Use an internet calling app or keep your main SIM enabled for calls and texts if your phone supports Dual SIM.
Which plan should I choose for Algeria?
For messaging and maps, 1–3 GB may be enough. For social media, video or regular use, choose 5–20 GB. Unlimited data suits heavier use.
Installation and activation
Steps to take before departure and once in Algeria.
When should I install my eSIM?
Install it before departure while you have stable Wi-Fi. Select it as your mobile-data line when you arrive.
How do I install the eSIM with its QR code?
In the SIM or mobile-data settings, choose “Add eSIM”, scan the QR code and follow the on-screen instructions. Keep the code private.
Do I need to enable data roaming?
It may be required for a travel eSIM. Enable roaming on the eSIM only and make sure your main SIM is not selected for data if you want to avoid roaming charges.
Can I keep my usual SIM active?
Yes, on Dual SIM devices. Keep your main SIM for calls and texts and use the EasyAlgerie eSIM for mobile data.
Using and troubleshooting
Connection, usage and first checks if something goes wrong.
Can I share my eSIM connection?
Tethering depends on the plan and phone. When allowed, enable Personal Hotspot on the eSIM line in the network settings.
What if the internet does not work after installation?
Check that the eSIM is enabled and selected for data, enable its roaming and turn flight mode on for ten seconds. Restart the phone if needed.
Do I need to configure an APN?
Configuration is normally automatic. If an APN is required, use only the value shown in your eSIM information.
Can I delete and reinstall my eSIM?
Do not delete the eSIM for troubleshooting. Some profiles or QR codes can only be installed once. Contact support first.
Order and tracking
Receiving your profile and finding it in your account.
When will I receive my eSIM?
Generation starts after payment confirmation. Once ready, the QR code and installation details are available under “My eSIMs” in your account.
Where can I find my QR code and activation code?
Sign in to EasyAlgerie, open “My eSIMs” and select the relevant eSIM to see its QR code, installation details and status.
