- 3. Check the exact model number, country of purchase and network lock.

Do all iPhones support eSIM?
No. Apple supports eSIM from iPhone XS, XS Max and XR, but availability can differ by country of purchase. Always check for “Add eSIM” in Settings.
Why can’t I see the eSIM option on Android?
The model or regional variant may not support eSIM, the phone may be network-locked, or its software may need updating. Search for “eSIM” in Settings and check the exact model number.
Can an eSIM-compatible phone still be locked?
Yes. Hardware support does not guarantee that the phone accepts plans from another provider. Check that it is unlocked by the network that sold it.
Can I use a SIM card and an eSIM together?
Many recent devices support Dual SIM, allowing you to keep your usual SIM for calls and use the eSIM for data, depending on the exact model.
Can a compatible tablet or watch use this plan?
An eSIM feature alone is not always enough: the plan must support that type of device. For best compatibility, use an unlocked smartphone.
