Mobile credit or a data plan: which should you choose?
Understand balance credit, data bundles and mixed plans to choose the right Ooredoo, Mobilis or Djezzy top-up.
The short answer
Credit adds money to the phone balance. A plan provides the benefits described in the chosen offer, subject to its conditions and validity. Buying 1,000 DA of credit does not automatically activate a 1,000 DA data plan.
Choose a top-upCredit is a balance, not a data allowance
Choose credit if the recipient wants to use their balance under their line’s tariff or activate an option themselves. Ask what they actually want before choosing an amount.
The line’s existing uses or options may consume that balance. A dinar amount should not be treated as a promise of a particular data volume.
Read plan benefits and validity
Check data volume, validity and any restrictions. For a mixed plan, read calls, messages and data conditions separately. Benefits limited to apps or a network are not the same as general unlimited use.

Offers differ between numbers
Two lines on one operator can have different tariffs. EasyAlgerie checks offers for the entered number; the initial catalogue alone does not establish eligibility.
Do not buy another product expecting it to create the missing plan’s benefits automatically. Ask the recipient to confirm their tariff and use verified compatible offers.
Check the appropriate balance after delivery
For credit, check the money balance. For a bundle, check active benefits. A missing change to the data counter is not proof that a credit top-up failed.
If the result differs from the ordered product, keep the plan name, order reference and a screenshot of the relevant counter. Contact support instead of purchasing another product blindly.

Are all data plans valid for a month?
No. Read the selected product’s validity. Do not infer it from price or data volume.
Can I pay a postpaid bill as a prepaid top-up?
These are different products. Only choose a service confirmed as supported for the line in the ordering process.
