1. Choose the city, dates and times
Search in Illizi and enter pickup, return and their times. Compare identical periods: a different return time can change the duration charged. Also check the listing’s minimum rental period.
In In Amenas, allow time to leave the airport, collect luggage and meet for handover. If your flight changes, contact the agency rather than assuming the car time will be adjusted automatically.
2. Compare terms, not just the price
Choose seats, boot space, transmission and equipment suitable for your stay. A model shown in a tutorial is illustrative; only the selected listing and its availability count.
- Daily mileage allowance and excess-mileage rate.
- Deposit payable to the agency and its return conditions.
- Minimum driver age, documents and minimum rental period.
- Driving restrictions, fuel and insurance stated in the contract.
For journeys around In Amenas, agree the itinerary, assistance and equipment. A road car, even an SUV or 4x4, does not automatically permit dunes, tracks or remote areas.
3. Confirm pickup at IAM airport
Choose airport pickup only when offered. Confirm handover at Zarzaitine, the meeting point, terminal if there is more than one, flight number and time. Delivery is free when shown as included; this does not guarantee a permanent terminal desk.
Search in Illizi and confirm local handover. Ask how to report a delay, a night arrival or an out-of-hours return. For pickup in another town, confirm the address and any extra conditions before payment.
4. Review the total and chosen payment
Enter accurate driver details, then review dates, times, pickup, options and the displayed total. Choose from the payment methods actually offered for your currency. Do not treat a price in an old video as a current quote.
If a deposit payment is offered, distinguish the amount paid online from the balance payable to the agency. Any security deposit is separate from online payment. Read the rental terms, cancellation rules and contract before confirming.
Read the rental terms5. Wait for confirmation and prepare for handover
A bank screen or payment in progress does not by itself confirm the rental. Wait for confirmed status and keep the reference, contract and pickup instructions. Save the displayed contact to arrange handover in In Amenas.
At pickup, check the vehicle’s condition, fuel, mileage and return conditions with the agency. If payment is pending, contact support and avoid another attempt without checking.
